Suspicious Caller Claiming to be from Southern Water

Yesterday in the High Salvington area, a suspicious male knocked on a resident's door posing to be from Southern Water.

The man was wearing a hugh-visibility coat and jacket, and handed a resident a Southern Water headed letter claiming there was a nearby leak.

Enquires have been completed with Southern Water and confirmed there has been no reported leaks in the area, and that the telephone number provided is not one of theirs.

Residents should be aware of this cold caller.
