Just a quick observation in this weeks Herald, work is to start on Monday 24 January 2022 to reduce the speed limit between Bost Hill and Findon Church from 50mph to 40mph.
The changes, mainly by night shift, will finish in March and cost £75,000. Hopefully the cost will involve more than just the speed limit signs!
Apart from the speed limit signs there is also a new turning constructed, driving from the north on the southbound road, on the east side of the A24 where they have constructed a new crossing through the central reservation for a crossing to give access to the findon church which is situated on the west side of the A24.
I would stress all drivers heading north on the A24 passing the Findon boundary road sign to be aware of this new crossing coming up on the right hand side after passing Findon Garden Centre on your left.
